Public Policy Spring Internships
Part time (hours vary) | Administrative offices
Quick-thinking, diligent, passionate individuals needed to assist Advocacy & Public Policy staff during legislative session/ Spring semester of 2009. Interns participate in policy research, legislative tracking, community / volunteer outreach, writing, mailings, data entry, event coordination and assistance with the production of newsletters . Event / Conference Assistant Internship
Part time (20-25 hours/week) | Administrative offices
General description: Looking for experience in conference and event planning? We are seeking an intern who is professional and skilled in multi-tasking to assist with the planning and coordination of Planned Parenthood Federation’s 2008 Central Region Conference to be held on Nov. 6-8, 2008. Projects will include assisting with conference logistics, supporting meetings, sending communications to committee members and volunteers, recruiting and training volunteers, securing speakers, planning menus and other duties as assigned.
The Event/Conference Assistant intern will be an integral part of the preparation and execution of all aspects of the Central Region Conference. This is a unique opportunity to gain real world experience planning a major conference for approximately 175 attendees from 17 states. The intern will work directly with Planned Parenthood leadership staff and volunteers from across the region to plan this exciting conference.

Reproductive Justice Activist

Are you ready to take ownership of what happens in your community? Sign on to be a Reproductive Justice Activist intern for Planned Parenthood of Indiana. This internship can be done on-campus, as a distance learning internship for course credit or in a volunteer capacity to put on your resume. Web Intern

General description: This position will assist in the development and maintenance of agency websites. Essential duties include: work with IT staff to develop and maintain website functionality; work collaboratively with agency staff in designing and developing website content; communicate effectively with IT and other agency staff regarding status of tasks and projects; attend meetings with supervisor and other agency staff; manage and prioritize work flow effectively.
