Donate: Pledge-A-Protest
Frequently on Sundays and on most holidays, anti-Planned Parenthood activists stage protests outside the homes of PPIN staff members or supporters. They carry graphic banners and conduct what they call a public "rebuking" of staff and friends who support our work.
So, when they show up, what are they really protesting?
-
10,000 Pap Tests to detect cervical cancer.
-
34,500 screenings for sexually transmitted diseases.
-
16,500 pregnancy tests and counseling sessions to discuss all options.
-
200,000 patient visits to discuss health and responsible decision making.
-
And yes, 5,000 safe and legal abortions that could have been prevented with more education and more access to birth control.
What can you do?
Make a donation today by downloading and completing the pledge form to help PPIN prevent unintended pregnancy and the spread of disease, and reduce the incidence of abortion. Help us focus on prevention now for a healthy tomorrow for all Hoosiers!
