Planned Parenthood of Indiana

Giving options

When you give to Planned Parenthood of Indiana, you may direct your donation so that your gift does the work you want it to do. The options listed below all contribute to our general medical, educational, and administrative operations. Review these options and then go to our online form – or view the information about donating to the Planned Parenthood Advocates of Indiana or Advocates PAC to help us ensure reproductive freedom in Indiana.

Women’s health fund

Contributions to this fund support low-income women with family planning supplies, cancer screening, and sexually transmitted infection testing and treatment. A portion of these funds are dedicated to providing expensive but life-saving cervical cancer treatments which are often unavailable to low income women. These funds are crucial to ensuring that uninsured women and those who are unable to access government assistance can afford quality reproductive health services.

Abortion fund

Access is still a critical issue. With increased government regulation and oversight of abortion the costs associated with abortion continue to rise. For women with existing children, house payments, time lost from their jobs, and for students with no income these funds are vital. In addition these dollars directly impact the experience patients have. Medical advances continue to make abortion an option earlier and earlier in pregnancy. In fact new Medical abortion services allow patients to avoid invasive surgery all together. These services however are more expensive. Your support of the Abortion Fund ensures that all women, regardless of ability to pay, have choices.

Sanger endowment

The earnings from this restricted fund are used only at the discretion of the Board of Directors for special projects and equipment. Such projects may include microscopes for sexually transmitted infection screening and PAP tests; fresh paint for a health center to ensure our patients are comfortable in their experience. This fund helps ensure that the services we provide will be available for future generations. With your support that future will be bright!

Education fund

Contributions to this fund are vital to our efforts to ensure that Hoosiers are informed about their reproductive health. The Peer Education program offers comprehensive, medically accurate sexuality education, which includes abstinence and the facts.

Technology fund

With 34 health centers ranging from Evansville to Gary, Planned Parenthood of Indiana must maintain a statewide technology infrastructure. The reliability of this system is vital to the delivery of professional and confidential care. Contributions to this fund are dedicated to the purchase of pc’s, printers, software, and continuing education for our IT staff.

Pledge-A-Protest

Frequently on Sundays and on most holidays, anti-Planned Parenthood activists stage protests outside the homes of PPIN staff members or supporters. They carry graphic banners and conduct what they call a public "rebuking" of staff and friends who support our work. Make a Pledge-A-Protest donation today and help PPIN prevent unintended pregnancy and the spread of disease, and reduce the incidence of abortion.

All contributions to Planned Parenthood of Indiana are tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law. Planned Parenthood of Indiana is a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. PPIN does not sell or exchange our donor’s names with other organizations. Thank you for your support of Planned Parenthood of Indiana.
