This year, and every year, thousands of uninsured and underinsured Hoosiers sought the compassion of our health center staff and the affordability of our services. PPIN saw a debilitating loss of federal funding in 2009, which has forced the closure of six health centers around the state and an organization-wide restructuring. With your support, PPIN has weathered the financial turbulence of the past year with an enduring sense of purpose. However, there are still Hoosier women and men in need of reproductive health care.
You can help! Those in economic need fare worse on health indicators such as unintended parenthood, STDs and health insurance coverage. Your 2009 year-end, tax-deductible donation is the helping hand your fellow Hoosiers need to begin 2010 healthier and happier. With your support, PPIN will remain a trusted name in reproductive health care, serving nearly 90,000 Hoosiers annually through health services and another 17,000 a year through education programs.
