Planned Parenthood of Indiana

Weaving a Tapestry of Strength

Today more than ever, your financial support is a critical thread in our Tapestry of Strength Capital and Endowment Campaign. Three years ago, PPIN embarked on the creation of this $7 million campaign to update and improve our health centers around the state and increase our endowment to give us the power to help Hoosier women, men and families for generations to come.

Specifically, the campaign is raising funds to:

  • locate new health centers in three regions
  • relocate seven health centers to new, better-equipped facilities
  • renovate and update nine health centers
  • increase our operating endowment to secure future support for educational programs and health care coverage for women and men who cannot pay

We need to improve our health centers: they're among the busiest in the country. PPIN is the fourth largest among the nation's 116 Planned Parenthood affiliates, serving more than 104,000 patients each year. Most of whom are low-income women. An increasing number have no health insurance. For many, we are the sole provider of their reproductive health care.

We also need to fund our endowment. Today, legislative and judicial forces are threatening our very right to exist. In the face of these challenges, our public funding has decreased – even as the need for our services has expanded.
